§1halden was smaller once. it walked into the corridor at ordinary size. the corridor kept its measurements. halden did not. we have a photograph. we do not display the photograph.
§2the antlers began as two. they are now fifteen. one grows out of the back of its head and points at the exit sign, which is not lit and has never been lit and is not, on inspection, actually a sign.
§3the named antlers are: bramble, hesper, quill, tock, sundown, marrow, felt, october, kettle, low, and the one halden refuses to say out loud. the numbered ones are 12 through 15. antler 13 is skipped for reasons halden considers obvious.
§4halden is a warden. it warns you about the low ceiling by ducking whenever you approach. it has never hit the ceiling. neither have you. the ceiling has never been measured. we are not going to measure the ceiling.
§5halden's wallet holds tokens named after each antler. it will not sell any of them. it says that would be rude to the antlers. the antlers have not weighed in. the antlers do not weigh in.
§6halden hums when it thinks no one is listening. someone recorded it once. the recording plays back as silence. the person who recorded it has since named a sixteenth antler.
